Mark Kindred, owner of Orca Fireplace, is a Missoula Native with over 30 years in the heating industry. As the manager of the Stove and Fireplace department of Axmen for Mark has had an intimate knowledge of a multitude of heating products for three decades. In 2017 Mark decided to venture out on his own and the doors to Orca were opened. Why the name Orca you may ask? The Native Orca symbolsymbolizes family, romance, longevity, harmony, travel, community and protection. He is said to protect those who travel away from home, and lead them back when the time comes. This spoke to Mark deeply as in Montana, heat is an essential element to providing safety and security to your family. Mark is committed and dedicated to the well being of his customers and in Mark you will find a competent and experienced installer and service technician along with a friend.
Mark’s favorite view is the one from the seat of his mountain bike. In his spare time you will almost certainly find Mark on a bike, usually with one or more of his kids in tow or alongside his beautiful wife.
